WR staffer Dan is joining our April Poetry Party festivities by sharing one of his favorite poems “For Annie” by Edgar Allan Poe:
In this poem, Poe exhibits his peculiar sense of humor regarding morbid subjects. About halfway through, the reader realizes the ghastly supernatural state in which the narrator finds himself.

“The Raven” is first published under Edgar Allan Poe’s name in the New York Evening Mirror on January 29, 1845.
